Tides of war

Watched Narnia not too long ago…

**Spoilers Warning** (then again, most people should have watched Narnia by now)

Standard big battle scene with lots of creatures, animals and some humans duking it out.

Initially, the good guys seemed to be losing, but suddenly, reinforcements (in the form of fresh, stronger troops) appear and smashed the baddies into oblivion! Wow…..

Wait, didn’t I see this before?

In Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers…. The soldiers of Rohan were losing their stand at Helm’s Deep, when Gandalf arrived with superior reinforcements to turn the tides….

Also, in the Return of the King, when the human forces were getting overwhelmed at Minas Tirith, Aregon & gang arrived with their undead reinforcements….

Hollywood seems to be running out of ideas for battle scenes. The next time you watch a movie and see the good guys losing, do not worry. Help will arrive soon…
