Dumb Class95 fm Segment

While I was driving to pick my gf up the other day, I was listening to Class95 fm.

It was evening time then (around 7pm+) and DJs Jean Danker and Rod Monteiro were hosting the usual evening “Car-Tunes”.

Anyway, they were hosting this segment known as “Good service, Bad service”… Whereby Rod would dial into a company and ask ridiculous questions, while faking a retarded voice (no offense to Rod, his normal voice is nice btw). The whole purpose of this segment is to see the reaction of the person who picked up the call, and use this reaction to judge if that company provided good or bad service.

Here is a brief re-cap of what I heard that day (Not word for word, I couldn’t remember 100% of what they said, but it’s about there) …

Rod: Hi…. Is this where you do nails..??
Lady (politely): Yes? How may I help you?
Rod: I would like to order some steel nails… Those long ones for hammering the tables….
Lady (still politely): Er… Sorry I think you got the wrong number….
Rod: Hello? Is this where you do nails?
Lady (still politely): Yes… But we do manicure and padicure…
Rod: Yes, so I would like to order some steel nails for my tables…
Lady (starting to feel irritated): Sorry, you’ve got the wrong place…
Rod: Hello? But you do nails right? I want to order the steel nails…
Lady: ** HANGS UP THE PHONE**
Rod and Jean together: The lady hung up on us............ BAD SERVICE BAD SERVICE!!!!

Do you see how dumb this whole thing is?

Whoever is in charge of putting up the segment (I hope it isn’t Jean & Rod’s idea) ought to be kicked in the freaking head. How is it considered “bad service” when some dumb retard is obviously making a prank call and you don’t want to waste your time anymore so you hang up the phone?

I wonder how it would be like if people kept calling into Class95 and pretending that they called into 93.3fm and end the dedication by saying (in Chinese on top of it) “93.3 fm is the best radio station in Singapore! Class95 cannot make it! ”.

I m sure the Class95 DJs wouldn’t even air those dedications! That’ll let Jean and Rod get a taste of how it’s like getting obviously retarded people to call in and waste their time.
