Michael Jackson & Plastic Surgeries

MJ has been found NOT guilty by a 12-member jury.
I've read countless debates on the Internet about this whole bizarre incident. I don’t really know who to trust, so I’ve been sitting on the fence so far. MJ is weird, so he *might* have done it. On the other hand, immoral people would stop at nothing to bend the truth so that they could get their share of wealth.
Regardless, MJ’s infamous transformation (thanks to countless plastic surgeries) does leave me with a feeling of disgust. What kind of person would want to deform himself sooooooo much? I understand if you are unhappy with your nose/eyes, and opt to go for a surgery to fix it for a better appearance (as done by lots of Japanese & Koreans), but whatever MJ did to himself does not count as “better appearance”. Why couldn’t he be contented with the way he looked originally (the MJ we see on the cover of the album “Thriller”)? I think that he looks rather ok then. Why fix something that isn’t broken? It must be some compulsive disorder found only in people who are super rich and famous!
Speaking of Japanese & Koreans, I’ve read everywhere (newspapers, Internet) that plastic surgery is a very common thing to them. It’s like, at least 5 out of 10 have gone under the knife before! That brings us to the point, that whenever you see a photo of a good-looking Japanese/Korean, how would you know that the look is natural? There is a high chance that his/her perfect facial features ain’t real, you know? That good-looking celebrity could possibly have used to look like the monkey you saw at the zoo when you were 10 yrs old!
